Friedensverhandlungen: Ein Friedensstreif am Horizont der Ukraine?

An mehreren Stellen und vor allem auch aus den USA sind derzeit zaghafte Stimmen in Richtung Frieden zu vernehmen. Zumindest könnte es Verhandlungen geben, die aber in solchen Fällen meist im geheimen stattfinden, meint Sebastian Puschner.

Immer schwierig ist das Verhältnis zwischen der öffentlichen Debatte über den Krieg und nötiger Geheimdiplomatie für den Frieden. Ohne Wissen um Gespräche im Verborgenen bleibt jeder Diskurs zu Strategie und Perspektiven Spekulation. Wer im Krieg das Gebot des Schweigens und angebliche nationale Interessen missachtet, muss drakonische Konsequenzen fürchten. Julian Assange sitzt weiter im Kerker.
